Our new words of the week are out, and check your child back pack for their list for them to practice when at home. Students will be tested on their spelling NEXT Friday November 27th.
Mathematics- I have been super impressed with the grade 3/4s learning of comparing numbers. Today they became "outback detectives" and are solving another mystery for who stole all the opal gemstones in Australia! They are solving this mystery by showing me their comparison of numbers knowledge through completing puzzles. Can't wait to see which animal stole all the opal.
Physical Education- Students continue to learn skills for for playing basketball! Keep earning the soccer balls for the classroom cup!
Social Studies & Art- The grade 3/4's completed some beautiful art pieces of a Rocky Mountain landform...any guesses for what they painted?.........Mountains! Along side their art, your child today learned some facts about mountains and other unique features about this region of Alberta.
